O Scale layout – MTH Surfliner & NYC Freight

Just an overall layout view from as high up as I could get the tri-pod set up, so, excuse the little shaking at the end, I had a hard time reaching the stop button… lol…I recorded this in 1080p not sure what goes thru YouTube… Running my MTH Amtrak Surfliner & Lionel NYC RS-11 with a mixed freight… and up top, the little die cast switcher on a local run… Hope you enjoy the view… Thanks for watching… And Yes, that’s a strap hanger from a RedBird subway car…

Norfolk Southern Mixed Freight and Scenery, another angle

Norfolk Southern mixed freight on the Piedmont Division HO scale model railroad layout. Testing the new scenery and NS loco with mixed freight consist. DCC decoder installed is a Digitrax #DH123D 2 FX and the sound decoder is Soundtraxx #825236 DSX GE w/K5 Airhorn and an oval 1.1×1.57 8 ohm speaker.

Norfolk Southern C40 Dash 8, B40 Dash 8 Tugging Local Freight Cars

This is part of the addition, the camera is zoomed in so its tough to see that the first straight portion leaving the yard is about 11 feet, with 8 more around the bend to the left.

This delightful HO-scale model railroad layout was built by City Classics Models to show off their model structure kits. I had the privilege of a private visit the other day while it was being refurbished between train shows, and I was so charmed that I couldn’t resist making this little video. Model Railroad Show: Rio Grande freight with Challenger video 2

West Bay Model Railroad Club hosted the annual Holiday Show this December 2008. I was able to capture a few trains we run during the show. This one shows a Rio Grande Challenger with a nice long freight as it passes by the yard.

Model Railroad Show: Southern Pacific and Santa Fe mail trains, Daylight and freight

West Bay Model Railroad Club hosted the annual Holiday Show this December 2008. I was able to capture a few trains we run during the show. This one shows four separate trains running by (and it was not staged, it just happened that way). 1- Daylight double-headed with GS-4s 2- Southern Pacific mail train 3- Southern Pacific freight 4- Santa Fe mail train
