Is Lionel any good?
Bought a model train set in a garage sale for 20$, strictly for a few pieces of scenery. I am really one of those chicks who need instructions to put things together, so didn’t dream to attempt this box of dissaray!
Anyways, put the box of stuff on trade me, online auctions for a week, ends in 2 days. My reserve was 25$, the bid is now at 152$. This surprised me, as (sorry to all you’s model lovers), it looked like um.. junk to me,
So now bidders are asking me questions. So give me some info basics? Difference between gauge,? what are the most expensive pieces? what do you need to begin / build one.
Take as long as you like people, I’ll be soaking it in.
Thanks for you info. I think it’s a cool hobby. will buy one for my son as soon as he’s old enough! Anew one, with instructions included!!!
